Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jeremi Olszewicz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jay Peacock! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Yves DeLean and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Olszewicz loads up on a big right hand but Peacock slips the punch. Peacock jabbing away but nothing is landing. Peacock throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Olszewicz looks to land a body kick but Peacock moved away. Nice body kick from Olszewicz. Peacock avoids the head kick by Olszewicz.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Peacock has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Olszewicz misses with a double jab.
Olszewicz looks to throw a body kick and Peacock counters with a good, hard body kick but Olszewicz shrugs it off. Peacock shoots and misses and Olszewicz counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Knees to the body from Olszewicz.
Peacock wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Peacock has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Olszewicz has Peacock pressed against the cage, preventing Peacock from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Olszewicz missing with knees to the body.

Peacock tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Olszewicz just stands there and leans against the cage. Jeremi Olszewicz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jay Peacock. Knees in the clinch landing for Olszewicz.
Olszewicz unloads a knee to the mid-section. Peacock lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Olszewicz tries to land knees in the clinch but Peacock avoids the damage to the body. Peacock breaks from the clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Peacock is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Peacock goes for a double leg but Olszewicz avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Olszewicz continues to drive forward. Peacock is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Olszewicz utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body. Peacock avoiding damage as Olszewicz throws knees to the body.

Peacock takes an elbow to the forehead. Peacock is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Olszewicz to keep the fight standing. Knees to the body from Olszewicz.
Peacock struggles to land a body shot inside as Olszewicz controls his hands.
Olszewicz lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Olszewicz is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Peacock is defending well for now.

Peacock jumps guard but Olszewicz turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Olszewicz gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Olszewicz lands an elbow just above Peacock 's eye. Olszewicz lands an uppercut. Peacock takes an elbow to the temple.
Peacock is rocked! Olszewicz connects with a nasty looking knee right to Peacock's face.
Peacock is still on wobbly legs! Can Olszewicz finish him? Olszewicz lands an elbow inside that Peacock shrugs off. Olszewicz working the clinch nicely. Peacock is working for position but Olszewicz cracks him with a big knee to the head! Peacock crumples up against the cage and Olszewicz lands two more shots before the ref can save Peacock! This one is all over!
