The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Graham shoots in looking for a takedown. Salita tries to sprawl out of it but Graham keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Salita manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Graham shoots for a takedown but Salita saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Graham fails with a takedown attempt from distance. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for James Graham. That's going to take a lot out of him. Salita tries to clinch up but Graham circles away and keeps his distance. Graham closes the distance and clinches up with Salita, looking for a takedown. Graham pushes Salita against the cage but Salita circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Salita fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Salita will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Graham gets the takedown into side control. Graham really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Salita gets back to half guard. Graham trying to control from half guard but Salita is working away. Graham trying to mount his opponent but Salita defends it. Graham knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Salita on the ground. Graham prevents Salita from improving his position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Salita trying to hold on to Graham's head to control him but Graham postures up.

Graham thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Salita fails with a takedown attempt. Graham clinches up against the cage. Salita takes an elbow to the forehead.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Graham breaks from the clinch.
Graham scores with a takedown into Salita's guard. Graham looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Graham is breathing heavily. Graham wants to control from the top but Salita keeps moving. Salita working for a triangle but Graham defends it easily.
Salita is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Graham rolls with it to try and escape but Salita cranks on the arm and Graham is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
