Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Hugh Adama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Calvary Kim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hugh Adama! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Calvary Kim! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Shigeki Sano and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kim fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Adama sprawls well initially but Kim persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Kim is looking for a kimura here.
Kim prevents Adama from improving his position. Kim tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Kim looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Kim missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Adama is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Adama trying to control but Kim postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Adama is defending against the submission attempts here by Kim.
Kim wants to pass to mount but Adama is defending the position. Kim is controlling the pace.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Kim throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Adama was covering up waiting for the punch and Kim finishes the takedown easily into guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kim gets to his feet. Adama looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Adama scores with a kick to the midsection. Adama swats away the attempt to clinch by Kim. Adama lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
It looks like Calvary Kim has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Adama tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Kim pushes Adama up against the cage in a clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Adama throws a punch but it's blocked by Kim. Kim has Adama pressed against the cage.

Kim tightens his grip and picks Adama up, before dumping him to the ground. Adama manages to land in guard. Adama is looking to stand up but Kim isn't so interested in that idea. Kim preventing the sweep. Adama is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Adama seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Adama has his feet on Kim's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Adama shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Adama throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Adama thows a huge punch but Kim dodges it nicely.
Kim is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Adama's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Adama's back! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. I really don't envy Adama right now.
Adama is working hard here to advance position. Kim is landing with strikes. Adama can't take much more of this. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Calvary Kim dominated that round. The cut man is working on Calvary Kim's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Adama throws a sloppy head kick and Kim moves out of range easily. Adama pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Adama tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Horrible takedown by Kim or perhaps it was just good defense by Adama which made him look bad. Kim is trying hard to land a takedown here. Adama sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Kim fails with an attempt to clinch.
Adama throws a hook to the side of Kim's head but Kim sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Kim shoots and misses and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Hugh Adama has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Calvary Kim. Kim is breathing heavily. Adama will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
That's one minute gone in the round. Adama throws a sloppy head kick and Kim counters with a nice body kick. Adama misses with the body kick and Kim counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Adama will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Kim shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Adama as he jumps to the side. Adama closes the distance and clinches. Kim fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

They are putting on a show! Adama thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Adama is looking to take a break and control but Kim is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Kim can't do much from the bottom here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Adama is trying to get an arm triangle but Kim is defending well. Adama wants to take a breather but Kim manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Adama. Kim has a closed guard, preventing Adama from standing up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Kim wants to sweep here but Adama controlling him for the moment. Adama pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Kim is keeping the position for now. Kim is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Adama wants to control from the top but Kim keeps moving. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Adama trying to stand up but can't free himself from Kim's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hugh Adama has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Calvary Kim. A punch combination from Adama misses. Kim tries to score with a low kick but Adama moves his leg out of the way. Kim pushes Adama up against the cage in a clinch. Adama ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Adama no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Kim preventing the sweep. Adama is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Kim controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Adama knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kim on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. Adama is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Adama keeping moving, preventing Kim from controlling successfully. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Calvary Kim wasn't active enough on the ground. Kim tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Adama swivels and escapes. Kim takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Kim throws a series of punches but Adama avoids them all with ease. Adama pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Adama shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Kim misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Kim manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Kim escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Adama gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Adama stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kim swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Hugh Adama. Adama misses with a takedown attempt - Kim sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Hugh Adama is winning the standup battle so far.

Kim misses with a takedown and Kim takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Adama changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kim tries to avoid it but Adama manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kim to the ground. Kim escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. A jab from Adama misses. Adama tries a low kick but Kim avoids it. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Adama. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Adama throws a nice head kick!
Adama shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kim but Kim pushes him off and we're back to square one.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Hugh Adama. I think Adama has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
