Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Fred Shudley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Quentin Pelser!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Albert Achterberg and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shudley clinches.
Shudley is trying to force a seperation but Pelser has the dominant position.
Pelser looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Shudley breaks the clinch.
Pelser doesn't manage to clinch there - Shudley circles away.
A nice leg kick lands there from Shudley.
Pelser takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Pelser blocks a head kick by Shudley.
Pelser tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Shudley swivels and escapes.
Shudley drops Pelser with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Pelser looks back up at him and smiles so Shudley waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Pelser is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Pelser blocks a head kick by Shudley.
Pelser is still on wobbly legs! Can Shudley finish him?
Pelser drops his hands momentarily and Shudley needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Pelser just on the top of the head. Pelser drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Pelser - he's done!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Fred Shudley!
