Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jeorge Johanson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Muntari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jeorge Johanson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Max Muntari! The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Valeri Chadov and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice takedown defense from Muntari. No joy for Johanson on that attempt. Johanson throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Muntari lands a high kick!
Johanson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Muntari as he jumps to the side. Johanson uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Muntari. Johanson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Muntari manages to avoid it. A head kick misses from Muntari. Johanson throws a series of punches but Muntari moves out of range. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Johanson. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jeorge Johanson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Muntari throws a head kick that misses. Muntari showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Johanson.

Muntari throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Johanson's head. Muntari throws a nice inside leg kick. A head kick from Muntari lands but Johanson takes it in his stride. Muntari clinches.

Muntari stalks Johanson and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Johanson's face. Johanson staggers backwards, shaken. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Muntari lets loose with a powerful body kick. Johanson will feel that in the morning. Muntari throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Johanson. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Johanson. Muntari misses with a combination

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Muntari throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Johanson's waist but Johanson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Muntari off to one side. Johanson throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Muntari avoids the head kick by Johanson.

Johanson throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Muntari feints and then cracks Johanson's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Johanson down. Johanson misses with a two punch combination.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Muntari tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. A head kick misses from Johanson. Muntari misses with a series of wild punches.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Max Muntari dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Johanson scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Johanson throws a sloppy head kick and Muntari counters with a flying knee. Nice. Muntari goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Muntari wants to clinch and Johanson counters with a head kick. That will keep Muntari thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Muntari misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

He's pushed Muntari's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Johanson works the jab nicely. Johanson avoids the head kick by Muntari.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Johanson has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Muntari is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Muntari breaks the clinch.

Johanson scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Johanson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Muntari but Muntari pushes him off and we're back to square one. Muntari fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Johanson. Johanson avoids the head kick by Muntari.
A head kick misses from Muntari. Johanson shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Johanson showed some decent athleticism there. Johanson is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Muntari is just riding it out for now. Johanson eventually gives up the hold.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Muntari has hold of Johanson's hands but Johanson slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Johanson uses his free foot to push down on Muntari's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Muntari. Johanson punching from mount but Muntari doing a good job of avoiding damage. Muntari takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Johanson unloading with bombs! Johanson looking to control but Muntari is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jeorge Johanson dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Muntari sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Muntari takes one to the chin there. Muntari throws a sloppy head kick and Johanson moves out of range easily. Good exchange - Johanson coming out on top. Muntari clinches up against the cage. Muntari breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Johanson connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Johanson looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Muntari! Muntari is looking to get to half guard.

Johanson throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Muntari is squirming around, avoiding Johanson's attempts to control the action.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Johanson looking to ground and pound but Muntari is blocking nicely. Johanson throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. Johanson cracks Muntari with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Johanson can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Muntari is looking to escape. Johanson is in the full mount, landing strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Johanson in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Muntari's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. BOOM! Johanson connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Johanson avoids the attempt from Muntari to control. Muntari really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Johanson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Johanson looking for a guillotine from mount but Muntari is having none of it.
And that's the end of the fight! Jeorge Johanson showed his dominance in that final round. I think Johanson has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
