Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Joe Grizzly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kris Weaver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Joe Grizzly!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kris Weaver!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Weaver fails with the takedown.
Weaver fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Weaver avoids a punch combination nicely.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Weaver is defended easily by Grizzly.
Joe Grizzly has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kris Weaver.
Weaver moves to clinch but Grizzly breaks away
and Grizzly cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Weaver throws a shot from downtown. Grizzly moves away and avoids it.
Weaver fails with an attempt to clinch.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Grizzly!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Grizzly stuffs the takedown.
Kris Weaver seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Weaver throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Grizzly counters with a head kick.
Weaver is rocked!
Weaver tries to clinch there but Grizzly circles away.
Grizzly swinging wildly here.
Weaver will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Weaver closes the distance looking to clinch
and Grizzly counters with a left and a right... And another left! Weaver is down! He's done! The ref dives in to save him and that's the end of the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Joe Grizzly!
