Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Rando (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Miller comes to the cage accompanied by The Black Angels. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ryan Miller!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Chris Rando!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Joseph Jones and Steve Montenegro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miller shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Good shot there by Miller.
Rando checks a leg kick.
Miller wants to land a leg kick but Rando is out of range.
Miller jabs at Rando's body.
Rando moves out of range of the strikes.
Rando is looking to clinch but Miller is avoiding it.
Miller swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Miller throws a right hand that Rando ducks under and follows up with a left that Rando also avoids with ease.
Miller misses the jab.
Miller thows a body shot but no joy.
Miller throws a jab when Rando was well out of range.
Ryan Miller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Miller lands a jab-cross combination.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Miller connects with a single shot there.
Rando tries for a takedown but Miller sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Miller lands a head shot.
Miller throws a combination. Rando tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Rando slips under a jab.
Rando shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Miller defends it nicely.
Rando gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Miller jabbing away but nothing is landing.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Miller throws a poor cross that misses
and Rando counters with a series of strikes. Miller will be more careful next time no doubt.

Miller misses with an uppercut

and Rando counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Miller!
Rando scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Miller to see if he's OK.
Rando with the ground and pound but Miller regains half guard under the barage of strikes.
Rando slips a nice elbow through Miller's hands, connecting with Miller's forehead.
Rando throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Miller tries to roll over but Rando keeps him under control.
Rando thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rando looks to land a strike but Miller avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
Rando wants to pass the guard but Miller is keeping the position.
Rando throws a big right hand that misses.

Miller avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Rando sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Miller's guard.
Rando not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Rando not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Rando seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Miller keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Miller is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Rando's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Rando's back!
Rando wants to escape the position.

Even with his hooks in, Miller manages to miss with strikes from the back.
Miller slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
Miller is hanging on to Rando's back as he tries to escape.
Rando looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Rando is trying to stand back up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Miller tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Rando is able to avoid easily.
The fighters circling - Miller throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Rando takes the fight into the clinch.
Miller throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Miller misses with some punches.
Miller makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Miller lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Miller misses with a hook to the ribs.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Miller creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Rando tries to work over Miller's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Rando tries for a takedown but Miller manages to get underhooks.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.

Rando drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Rando blocking some punches.
Miller is leaning against Rando and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Miller throws a head punch that misses.
Miller working aggressively here.
Miller misses with a punch on the inside.
Miller swings wildly with an uppercut but Rando uses good head movement to avoid it.

Rando manages to break the clinch.
Miller connects with a body shot that sends Rando's belly button to the back.
Rando shoots in but Miller avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Ryan Miller has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chris Rando.
Rando moves out of range of the leg kick from Miller.

Miller clobbers Rando with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Miller lands a right hook to the body.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Rando checks a leg kick.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Nice takedown defense from Miller. No joy for Rando on that attempt.
Rando is breathing heavily.
Rando moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Miller dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Miller lands a body shot.
Miller moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Chris Rando is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Miller lands a jab to Rando's midsection.
Miller connects with a crisp jab.
Miller lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.


Rando is rocked!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
An inside leg kick from Miller misses.
Miller tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Rando is able to avoid easily.
Rando walks straight into a right hand from Miller - that's dropped him! Miller jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Rando from any more punishment! Rando complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:17 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Ryan Miller!
Ryan Miller decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
In defeat, Chris Rando stepped up to the mic, saying 'Thanks to the fans and my coaches for supporting me, I'm still young and I've got a lot to learn. I'm a quick learner!'.
