Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tuomas Uusierkki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian Lobe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Uusierkki might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Rob Zombie - Never Gonna Stop (The Red Red Kroovy). This should be a great matchup!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Uusierkki shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Lobe's guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Lobe has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Uusierkki can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Lobe looking to hit a scissor sweep but Uusierkki is one step ahead there.
Uusierkki is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Uusierkki trying to control the position from guard on top but Lobe is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Uusierkki stands up over Lobe, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Lobe lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Uusierkki!

Lobe swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Uusierkki is now in Lobe's guard. A big mistake from Lobe there, giving up the dominant position!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Lobe is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Lobe tries to hold on but Uusierkki postures up.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
