The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alameddine shoots in for a double leg but Jackson sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Jackson attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Alameddine shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jackson but Jackson pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Alameddine lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Jackson at a distance.
Jackson throws a right and a left that both miss.
Jackson shoots in but Alameddine avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Alameddine really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
No joy there for Alameddine, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Jackson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Alameddine paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Alameddine slips a straight right by Jackson.
Jackson misses with a double jab
and Jackson takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Jackson throws out a loose jab but Alameddine uses good head movement to avoid it.
A left and a right from Alameddine both land. Nice combination.

It looks like Ray Jackson has been cut.
Jackson throws a shot from downtown. Alameddine moves away and avoids it.
Jackson closes the distance but Alameddine moves to the side
and Alameddine counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Jackson stuffs the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kareem Alameddine. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Alameddine moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

Jackson is rocked!

Alameddine connects with a stiff jab that staggers Jackson - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
