Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
19 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tubby Hayes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

9 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bobby Tupper V!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Robert Twigg and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tupper V misses with a two punch combination.
Hayes manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Tupper V on his heels. He'll look to pass Tupper V's guard now, I'm sure.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hayes accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Hayes with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Hayes passes into half guard.

Tupper V tries to get to full guard but Hayes has control of the leg.

Hayes wants to pass the guard but Tupper V is defending well.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tupper V regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Hayes.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hayes cracks Tupper V with a solid left hand.
Hayes with a flurry of punches that miss.

Hayes trying to control the position from guard on top but Tupper V is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Hayes's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Hayes loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Tupper V is looking to stand up but Hayes isn't so interested in that idea.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Hayes throwing strikes from guard but Tupper V blocks nicely.
Hayes missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Hayes is in close to Tupper V's body, working some short punches and elbows.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Hayes wants to control from the top but Tupper V keeps moving.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hayes wants to pass the guard but Tupper V is keeping the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tubby Hayes dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Tupper V throws a leg kick but Hayes moved away.
Hayes swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Nice straight punches there by Tupper V. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Tupper V.
Hayes gets in close and instigates a clinch.
A short right from Hayes on the inside.
Tupper V tries to break the clinch but Hayes is controlling the position.
Hayes utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body.
Tupper V escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Tupper V throws a leg kick that is checked
and Hayes counters with a one-two to the body.
Sloppy strikes from Tupper V. Those never looked like landing.
Hayes doesn't manage to clinch there - Tupper V circles away.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Tupper V throws a combination that misses
and Hayes counters with a stiff right hand.
Tupper V fails to land with a series of punches.
Hayes bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
It looks like Bobby Tupper V has been cut.
Hayes throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Tupper V's waist but Tupper V gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hayes off to one side.
Hayes has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Tupper V finds it's way round the side to connect with Hayes's head.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Tupper V pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Hayes throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Tupper V is rocked!
Hayes moves into range and clinches up with Tupper V.
Tupper V is still on wobbly legs! Can Hayes finish him?
Tupper V throws a head punch that misses.
Tupper V is trying to push Hayes away but Hayes has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Hayes lands a right hand that snaps the head of Tupper V backwards.
Hayes scores a nice knee to the body.
A right hand to the body from Hayes.
Tupper V is breathing heavily.
Hayes has Tupper V pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Tupper V is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Hayes - that's hurt Tupper V badly! Oh, another knee lands and Tupper V is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Tupper V doesn't seem to be complaining.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:32 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knees). Tubby Hayes!
