The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Overeem gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Overeem lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and McBorin has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from McBorin and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

McBorin tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Overeem was well out of range. Poor timing from McBorin.
McBorin misses with a takedown attempt - Overeem sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
McBorin moves out of range of the leg kick from Overeem.
McBorin shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Overeem sprawls well. Overeem wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. McBorin gets slowly back to his feet.
McBorin chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Overeem can pounce on him.

Overeem throws a hook to the side of McBorin's head but McBorin sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
McBorin swings for the body but Overeem moves out of range.

The crowd cheers as Overeem lands an impressive looking overhand right. McBorin doesn't seem phased though.

Overeem does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
McBorin misses with a wild body shot.
McBorin on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Overeem. Overeem obviously looking to wear him down.
Overeem slaps away a takedown attempt from McBorin, before circling back to the center of the mat.
McBorin is looking to wear down Overeem with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Overeem uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by McBorin.
Overeem stuns McBorin with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Overeem feints and then cracks McBorin's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow McBorin down.
Overeem lands a brutal head kick. McBorin looks out on his feet and Overeem throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
