Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Stevenus Regl (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Lewis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Stevenus Regl! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mark Lewis! The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Edson Gomes and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lewis gets caught flat footed, as Regl shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Regl trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Lewis wants to sweep here but Regl controlling him for the moment. Lewis keeping full guard, as Regl tries to pass. Regl stops Lewis from standing up. Regl trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Lewis looking for a guillotine here but Regl defends easily.
Regl tries to free his leg and advance position but Lewis is retaining full guard. Regl postures up in Lewis's guard and throws a big left but Lewis blocks it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lewis avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Lewis pulls Regl in close to prevent any damage. Lewis scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Lewis pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Lewis feints and as Regl raises his hands in defense, Lewis changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Lewis working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Regl's head. Regl working for a triangle but Lewis defends it easily.
Regl wants to sweep but no luck.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Regl has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Lewis can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Lewis slips nicely into half guard. Lewis is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Lewis is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Regl actively working from the bottom here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lewis decides to stand and escape the position. Lewis shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Lewis was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Lewis connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Regl some visible discomfort.
Lewis moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Regl manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lewis blocking the ground and pound attempt from Regl. Regl is working for a submission of some sort.
Regl is looking for a kimura but Lewis is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Regl to get the leverage. Lewis is concentrating on defense, preventing Regl from advancing position. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Lewis wants to get back to his feet.
Regl thows a huge punch but Lewis dodges it nicely.
Regl is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Lewis slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Lewis pushes a forearm under Regl's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Regl is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
