Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Leonard Jenkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bang Quintero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jenkins shoots and misses
and Quintero counters with a nice body shot.
Horrible takedown by Quintero or perhaps it was just good defense by Jenkins which made him look bad.
Quintero shoots in for a takedown but Jenkins shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Quintero shoots in looking for a takedown. Jenkins tries to sprawl out of it but Quintero keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jenkins manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Leonard Jenkins has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bang Quintero.
Quintero fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Jenkins avoids it really well and circles away.
Jenkins looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Quintero is fending him off so far but Jenkins persists. Nope, Quintero circles away and we're back to standing.
Jenkins defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Quintero.

and Quintero counters with a nice low kick that buckles Jenkins's knee momentarily.

Quintero closes the distance and clinches.

Quintero breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Jenkins drives through with a takedown into Quintero's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Jenkins lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Jenkins has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Quintero escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Jenkins gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jenkins trying to control but Quintero is working from the bottom.
Jenkins is working Quintero over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

It looks like Bang Quintero has been cut.
Jenkins lands a couple of digs.

Quintero is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Jenkins is aware though and is defending well.

Quintero is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Jenkins defends well.

Quintero really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jenkins. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Quintero has momentary wrist control but Jenkins slips an elbow through the middle.

The cut above Bang Quintero's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Bang Quintero's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
