Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paul Sutherland (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Natan Grygiel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Grygiel is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Sobota- Rusz dupsko na marsz. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Paul Sutherland!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Natan Grygiel!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Aafke Stam and Paulsen Ambrosius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grygiel with a poor takedown
and Sutherland counters with a nice body kick.
Grygiel wants to clinch
and Sutherland counters with a low kick, right behind Grygiel 's knee.
Grygiel takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Sutherland misses with an attempted mid kick.
Grygiel shoots for a takedown but Sutherland saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Grygiel throws a hook but Sutherland avoids it easily.
Sutherland connects with the punch.
Grygiel wants to clinch but Sutherland slips to the side
letting Sutherland counter with a right hand.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Sutherland scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Grygiel doesn't seem bothered though.

Sutherland sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Grygiel's guard.

Grygiel had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Sutherland defends it easily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Sutherland shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Sutherland showed some decent athleticism there.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Grygiel takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
The fight stays on the outside here - Grygiel looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Grygiel gets caught flat footed, as Sutherland shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Sutherland stands up over Grygiel, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Grygiel is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Sutherland not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Sutherland accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Grygiel working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Sutherland doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Grygiel is tightening it up a little... Sutherland has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Sutherland reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Sutherland taps out! Nice BJJ there by Grygiel!

In his post fight interview, Natan Grygiel started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
