The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ridgeon jabbing away but nothing is landing. Tennant clobbers Ridgeon with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Ridgeon avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Ridgeon throws a sloppy head kick and Tennant moves out of range easily. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Tennant uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
It looks like Lewis Ridgeon has been cut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Ridgeon closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Tennant quickly recovers to half guard. Tennant tries to kick Ridgeon off but Ridgeon keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Ridgeon is looking to take a break and control but Tennant is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Ridgeon not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. We're going to have a standup here because Lewis Ridgeon wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Tennant!
Tennant bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. This has been an exciting period of action! Tennant misses with a double jab.
Ridgeon on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Ridgeon ducks under a wild hook from Tennant. Ridgeon throws a sloppy head kick and Tennant moves out of range easily. Tennant misses with a wild combination.
A punch combination from Tennant misses. Ridgeon shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Tennant but Tennant pushes him off and we're back to square one. Tennant gets caught flat footed, as Ridgeon shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. That's four minutes gone in the round. Ridgeon keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Tennant's head. Ridgeon has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Ridgeon postures up in Tennant's guard and throws a big left but Tennant blocks it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but David Tennant will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Lewis Ridgeon's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
A swing and a miss from Ridgeon. A telegraphed right hand from Tennant misses the target. Tennant lands a nice looking body shot.

Ridgeon doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Ridgeon throws a front kick aimed at Tennant's knee but Tennant avoids it well. David Tennant seems to be getting the better of the standup. Ridgeon staying out of range there. Tennant just misses with a punch to the body.
Ridgeon ducks right into an uppercut from Tennant. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! A looping hook to the body misses from Tennant. Ridgeon does a little dance to reset his feet. Ridgeon showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Tennant.
Tennant thows a body shot but no joy. Tennant throws a big shot that misses. Tennant throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Tennant jabs Ridgeon to the body, keeping him at a distance. Ridgeon walks into a stiff left hand from Tennant. Jab by Tennant. Ridgeon scores with the left hand. Tennant knows he should have avoided that one. Ridgeon takes a jab right on the kisser.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tennant blocks the body kick.
Ridgeon shoots in looking for a takedown but Tennant manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Ridgeon's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Tennant drops Ridgeon with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Ridgeon looks back up at him and smiles so Tennant waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Ridgeon is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Tennant throws a nice looking combination but Ridgeon bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Oh Ridgeon is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Ridgeon slips a jab and a cross from Tennant.

Ridgeon seems to have got his legs back now. Tennant has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Tennant throws a looping overhand right but Ridgeon ducks down to avoid it. Tennant pounces like a tiger and cracks Ridgeon with a vicious hook! Ridgeon is down but not out! Tennant follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:28 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). David Tennant! Jumping up and down and very excited, David Tennant waved his t-shirt featuring Dynamite's logo in front of the cameras.
