The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice body kick from Van De Velde. Van De Velde tries to clinch but Risley moves out of range. Risley is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Van De Velde's half guard. Risley is breathing heavily. Van De Velde is trying to stand up here but Risley is controlling him well. Van De Velde is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Risley moves into full mount! Van De Velde won't be happy about that!

Risley tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Van De Velde manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. A head kick misses from Risley. Risley moves in looking to clinch but Van De Velde pushes him off. Van De Velde gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Risley to score an easy takedown into full guard. Risley stops Van De Velde from standing up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Risley controls the pace of the fight for a moment. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Van De Velde is looking to stand up but Risley isn't so interested in that idea. Risley controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Risley drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Van De Velde takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Risley working the ground and pound. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Van De Velde is trying to buck Risley off. Risley thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Risley looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Risley staying calm. Risley lands a few punches from side control. Van De Velde pushes Risley away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Risley gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Risley content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Van De Velde is trying to get back to his feet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Risley has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Van De Velde! Risley controlling his opponent. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hunter Risley dominated that second round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

We're going to have a standup here because Hunter Risley wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Van De Velde tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Risley manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Risley darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Risley perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Robert Van De Velde has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Hunter Risley is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Risley passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Van De Velde!
And that's the end of the fight! Hunter Risley showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Risley, winning every round. Will the judges agree?
