Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tommy The Duke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maxi Preist (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Tommy The Duke! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Maxi Preist! The judges for this bout are Josh West, Micheangelo Fripello and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Preist doesn't manage to clinch there - The Duke circles away.
Preist doesn't succeed with the takedown and The Duke moves into the clinch. The Duke will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Preist up against the cage. The Duke throws an elbow but it's blocked.
The Duke gets control of Preist's arms and successfully pulls guard. The Duke will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The Duke wants to stand up but Preist is controlling him. The Duke had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Preist defends it easily. Preist trying to control but The Duke is working from the bottom. Preist looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Preist wants to control from the top but The Duke keeps moving. Preist slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Maxi Preist has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Preist fakes a jab and throws a low kick but The Duke checks it well. The Duke misses with a wild body shot. Preist shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has The Duke pinned against the cage. The Duke gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. The Duke closes the distance and pushes Preist back into the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The Duke misses with a hook to the ribs.
Preist is defending well against a takedown attempt. Preist looking for a takedown. Tommy The Duke has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Maxi Preist. Preist decides to pull guard. Preist looking to hit a scissor sweep but The Duke is one step ahead there. The Duke trying to control but Preist is working from the bottom. The Duke could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. The Duke would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Preist throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Preist has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but The Duke can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Preist throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
The Duke trying to control the position from guard on top but Preist is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Preist looking for submissions from the bottom but instead The Duke passes into side control.
The Duke tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The Duke is trying to get an arm triangle but Preist is defending well. Preist is trying to improve his position. The ground and pound from The Duke seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Preist tries to get back to half guard but can't. Preist is looking to work his way out of this bad position but The Duke is controlling him well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tommy The Duke dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Preist blocks a head kick by The Duke.
The Duke avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
The Duke fails to land the takedown. Preist wants to clinch. The Duke shoots in for a takedown but Preist shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Preist tries for a takedown but The Duke circles away easily and The Duke counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Preist's guard now. The Duke trying to control but Preist is working from the bottom. Preist looking to hit a scissor sweep but The Duke is one step ahead there.
That's one minute gone in the round. The Duke slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. The Duke thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. The Duke tries to score with some ground and pound. Preist controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. The Duke throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Preist is trying to escape the position but The Duke is controlling the position. Preist is looking for a sweep.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Preist struggling a bit here. Preist gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Preist is looking for a sweep. The Duke is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. The Duke is trying to control the action in half guard but Preist is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. The Duke is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Preist gets back to full guard.
Tommy The Duke overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The Duke preventing the sweep. Preist really doesn't want to stay on the ground with The Duke. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The Duke is stalling in the full guard. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. The Duke content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Preist wants to stand up but The Duke is controlling him. The Duke pushes down on Preist's leg and manages to get into half guard. Preist is breathing heavily. The Duke seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Preist does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Preist is trying to control but can't.
The Duke wants to take a breather but Preist is having none of it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The Duke sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Preist defending well though. Preist is trying to maintain the position but The Duke is very close to passing his half guard. The Duke trying to pass the guard but Preist defending well.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. The Duke instigates a clinch. The referee calls for The Duke to work.
Preist has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics The Duke uses from the top position. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. The Duke thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. The Duke working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tommy The Duke dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Preist shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. The Duke throws a sloppy head kick and Preist moves out of range easily. The Duke closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Preist's guard. The Duke trying to control but Preist is working from the bottom. Preist wants to control the position but The Duke says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. The Duke is trying to work for a kimura but Preist is defending well.
Preist moves into full guard.
Preist isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. The Duke stacks Preist on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by The Duke! Preist takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. The Duke works to advance to full mount. Preist defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Preist is squirming around, avoiding The Duke's attempts to control the action. Preist wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back. The Duke is riding his opponent, not letting Preist buck him off. The Duke is hanging on to Preist's back as he tries to escape.
The Duke is looking to control Preist but Preist is wriggling around and keeping busy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The Duke working for the choke. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! The Duke is looking to control Preist but Preist is wriggling around and keeping busy. The Duke landing with strikes. The Duke is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Preist with him. Preist is trying to defend but The Duke has an arm under the chin now! Preist grimaces and is forced to tap out!
