The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sypnewski misses with a takedown attempt
and Harju makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Harju tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Sypnewski was well out of range. Poor timing from Harju.

Sypnewski takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Harju lands with a hook. Sypnewski tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Harju feints and then cracks Sypnewski's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Sypnewski down.
Harju scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

Kalju Harju seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Harju circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Sypnewski to the canvas! Sypnewski doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Harju keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
