The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Simmons cracks Kefflon with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Simmons moves into the clinch.
Kefflon keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Simmons's efforts to push away.
Kefflon avoids the elbow strike from Simmons, against the cage.
Simmons is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Simmons pulls Kefflon into guard.
Kefflon wants to control from the top but Simmons keeps moving.
Simmons is pulling down on Kefflon's head to control his posture.
Kefflon sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Simmons's guard.
Simmons gets back to full guard.
Kefflon has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Simmons to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Kefflon is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Simmons pulls down on the head and he's put Kefflon to sleep! This one is all over!
