Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Frankie Gunn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Mowbray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tony Mowbray has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Frankie Gunn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Tony Mowbray! The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Donald Grub and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mowbray avoids the head kick by Gunn.
No luck for Gunn with that takedown attempt. Gunn shoots and misses and Mowbray counters with a three punch combo that has Gunn backing up. Gunn nods at Mowbray to acknowledge the strikes. Gunn shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Mowbray as he avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Frankie Gunn. That's going to take a lot out of him. Gunn moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Mowbray tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Gunn uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Mowbray. Gunn shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Mowbray as he jumps to the side. Gunn shoots in looking for a takedown. Mowbray tries to sprawl out of it but Gunn keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Mowbray manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Gunn shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Mowbray but Mowbray pushes him off and we're back to square one. Gunn tries to clinch but Mowbray is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mowbray fails with a takedown attempt. Mowbray gets tackled into the cage by Gunn. Gunn maintains the clinch. Gunn misses with a body punch.
Mowbray gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Gunn regains guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Mowbray drops back looking for a leg! Gunn is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Gunn manages to kick Mowbray off! Mowbray jumps back into Gunn's guard. Gunn controlling the position. Mowbray wants to control from the top but Gunn keeps moving. Gunn working a defensive guard but Mowbray passes into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mowbray is thwarting Gunn's attempts to control the position. Gunn misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Gunn has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Mowbray is working away from the top position though. Mowbray sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Gunn defending well though. Mowbray wants to pass to mount but Gunn is defending the position. Mowbray seems to be working for a kimura but Gunn defends the submission attempt. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Mowbray seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Gunn does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gunn is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Gunn wants to control but Mowbray is keeping busy.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mowbray trying to control the position from guard on top but Gunn is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gunn controlling Mowbray's posture. Mowbray controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Gunn looking to control.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Tony Mowbray. Gunn is looking to take this fight into the clinch. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Mowbray takes a swing at Gunn's ribcage but misses. Mowbray shoots in but Gunn avoids the takedown attempt easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Tony Mowbray will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

Gunn lands with a straight right. Mowbray didn't see that one coming. Frankie Gunn is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Gunn tries to clinch there but Mowbray circles away.
Mowbray tries for a takedown but Gunn sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Gunn takes the fight into the clinch. Gunn has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Mowbray avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Gunn jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Mowbray walks away with a smile on his face. Gunn gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Frankie Gunn. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mowbray clinches. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Gunn takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Mowbray has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Gunn is trying to keep an underhook but Mowbray manages to get the takedown into half guard. Mowbray passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Gunn! Gunn sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Mowbray is looking to take a break and control but Gunn is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Gunn has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Mowbray is working away from the top position though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gunn gets back to full guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Mowbray advances position into side control! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Mowbray wants to lay and pray for a moment but Gunn keeps working. Mowbray throws an elbow but Gunn slips to the side and avoids it well. Gunn is looking to reverse the position. Mowbray wants to stand but Gunn is controlling his arm. Mowbray takes a little break here. Gunn wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Gunn is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Mowbray asserts his dominance and retains side control. Mowbray wants to lay and pray for a moment but Gunn keeps working. Mowbray wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Gunn, who protects the arm well. A control attempt from Gunn but he's now mounted!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mowbray wants to control the pace but Gunn is squirming around nicely. Mowbray looking to finish Gunn with some ground and pound. This is bad for Gunn! Gunn is trying to reverse the position but instead Mowbray has taken his back - oops! Mowbray working for the choke. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Mowbray trying to control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tony Mowbray showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Gunn rushes Mowbray and presses him up against the cage. Mowbray breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Gunn fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Mowbray avoids it really well and circles away. Gunn shoots and misses and Gunn takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Gunn shoots in looking for a takedown but Mowbray manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Gunn's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Frankie Gunn. That's going to take a lot out of him. Gunn slaps away a takedown attempt from Mowbray, before circling back to the center of the mat. Gunn shoots in for a double leg but Mowbray sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Mowbray is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Gunn's half guard. Mowbray is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Gunn!
That's one minute gone in the round. Mowbray with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Mowbray has got one arm under Gunn's chin. This could be trouble... Gunn trying to control the other hand but Mowbray gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Gunn has tapped out! The fight is over!
