Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Buggy Clown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Morten Paulsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Paulsen has chosen Papa Roach - Do or die as his entrance music. Morten Paulsen is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Clown scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Paulsen is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Clown is working for a kimura but Paulsen is defending it quite comfortably.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Clown accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

That was a close second round but I would say that Buggy Clown will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Clown here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Clown's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Paulsen connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Clown scrambles back to his feet.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Paulsen throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Clown's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Paulsen dives in looking to finish as Clown flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Paulsen's strikes! Paulsen is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Clown's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Clown was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.

After the fight, Morten Paulsen was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
