Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Juji Master! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Brandon Milton! The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Marco Blurström and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Master fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Milton sprawls well initially but Master persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Milton is trying to stand.
Master tries to pass to full mount but Milton defends it. Milton wants to get back to his feet. Milton manages to escape and get back to his feet! Master fails with the takedown. Master doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Master shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Master fails with a takedown attempt from distance. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Juji Master. That's going to take a lot out of him. Master shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Milton really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Master. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Milton is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Master is controlling him. Master passes Milton's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Master is pressing down on Milton's thigh, looking to free his foot. Milton is holding on for now. Milton is in trouble now - Master has advanced to mount! Milton prevents Master from taking his back. You get the feeling that Milton really doesn't like being in this position too much.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Milton is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Master is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Milton has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Milton! Milton decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Master tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Master closes this distance looking for a takedown but Milton circles away. Master shoots for a takedown but Milton saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Milton throws a right and a left that Master avoids nicely. Milton lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Master at a distance.
Milton slips under a jab. Master fails with the takedown. Milton blocks a jab. Milton slips a jab from Master. Milton throws a right and a left that Master avoids nicely.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Milton throws a right and a left that both miss. Master fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Master will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Master closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Master lands in his opponent's guard. Master is pushing down on Milton's leg trying to pass to half guard. Milton is fighting to maintain full guard but Master has managed to sneak the leg through. Master is looking for a kimura here.
Milton is looking to escape. Milton manages to escape and get back to his feet! Milton takes a swing at Master's ribcage but misses. Milton throws a front kick that sends Master stumbling back into the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Master shoots in and drives through. Milton sprawls well. Milton moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. No luck for Master with that takedown attempt. Milton slips a jab from Master. Milton punishes Master's body with a nice straight punch. Master fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Milton closes the distance and lands a one-two. Milton avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Master drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Milton keeping full guard, as Master tries to pass. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Milton wants to stand up but Master is controlling him. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Brandon Milton will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Milton thows a body shot but no joy. Master misses with an uppercut. Milton saw that one coming. Master tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Milton swivels and escapes. Milton misses with a body shot.

Nice sprawl there from Milton as Master shoots in. Master on the wrong end of a nice jab. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Milton scores with a punch to the head. Master blocks the body kick.
Milton scores with the left hand. Master knows he should have avoided that one. Milton connects with a single shot there. Milton throws a head kick that half lands.
That's one minute gone in the round. Master takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Milton misses with the combination.
Master tries to close the distance and clinch up but Milton swats him away and circles back towards the center. Master closes the distance and clinches up with Milton, looking for a takedown. Master pushes Milton against the cage but Milton circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Master closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Master has a takedown stuffed. Milton displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Master throws out the jab. Master is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Milton. Milton throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Milton ducks under a wild hook from Master. Milton scores with a shot to the body.
Master scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Master is trying to work for a kimura but Milton is defending well.

Master passes the guard and advances to mount! Master working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Milton turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Master off and cradles Milton's limp body as Master celebrates with his corner.
