Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Taite Laiveta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dr Pepper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Taite Laiveta!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dr Pepper!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Gregory Folan and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Laiveta throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Laiveta throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Laiveta wants to slow Pepper down by chopping away at his legs.
Pepper shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Laiveta pinned against the cage. Laiveta gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Laiveta with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Laiveta's jab looks to have found its range, popping Pepper under the eye.
Pepper blocks a head kick by Laiveta.
Pepper will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Pepper shoots in for a double leg but Laiveta sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Taite Laiveta has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dr Pepper.
Laiveta looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
A head kick misses from Laiveta.
Taite Laiveta seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Laiveta lands a head kick. Pepper smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Laiveta walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Pepper checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Laiveta throws out a leg kick but Pepper moves out of range and Laiveta only half commits.
Pepper shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Laiveta pinned against the cage. Laiveta gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Laiveta lands a leg kick that knocks Pepper off balance momentarily.
Pepper checks a low kick from Laiveta.
Laiveta throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Pepper's head.
Pepper is rocked!
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Laiveta! Pepper is out on his feet! Laiveta rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Pepper is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Pepper is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
