Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, James Pots! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Damian Fat Boy! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Shigeki Sano and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No luck for Pots with that takedown attempt. Fat Boy looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Fat Boy throws a head kick that misses. Pots looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Fat Boy is fending him off so far but Pots persists. Nope, Fat Boy circles away and we're back to standing. Pots drops Fat Boy with a beautiful combination! Fat Boy stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Pots is looking for the KO! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Fat Boy checks a leg kick. Pots forces Fat Boy back against the cage and clinches. Fat Boy prevents a takedown attempt there.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for James Pots. That's going to take a lot out of him. Pots has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Fat Boy after a bit of a struggle. Fat Boy prevents a takedown attempt there.

Pots is trying to force a seperation but Fat Boy has the dominant position. Pots prevents Fat Boy from breaking the clinch. Pots wants to break free but Fat Boy has control.
Pots goes for a takedown attempt but Fat Boy pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Pots changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Fat Boy tries to avoid it but Pots manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Fat Boy to the ground. Fat Boy escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Pots fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Pots takes the fight into the clinch. Pots throws an elbow but it's blocked.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pots scores with a shoulder strike. Fat Boy has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Pots is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Fat Boy is defending well. Fat Boy looking to throw knees to the head but Pots is blocking nicely.
Fat Boy's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Fat Boy prevents a takedown attempt there.
Fat Boy wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Pots has him pressed against the cage. Fat Boy trying to stall but Pots improves his position.
Pots escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Pots gets slowly back to his feet. Fat Boy tries to keep at a distance but Pots has taken the fight into the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Fat Boy tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Fat Boy blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Pots has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Fat Boy regains guard immediately. Fat Boy is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pots postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Pots throws a nice looking combination but Fat Boy bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Pots. Pots digs a good hook to Fat Boy's body.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Fat Boy fails with the takedown. Pots forces Fat Boy back against the cage and clinches. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
James Pots dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Pots fails with a takedown attempt. Damian Fat Boy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Fat Boy tries to clinch up but Pots circles away and keeps his distance. Fat Boy closes this distance looking for a takedown but Pots circles away. Fat Boy swats away the attempt to clinch by Pots. James Pots is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Pots fails with a takedown attempt. Pots misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Pots is defended easily by Fat Boy. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for James Pots. That's going to take a lot out of him. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Pots.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pots shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Fat Boy pinned against the cage. Fat Boy gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Pots has closed the distance and engaged Fat Boy in a clinch.

Pots is trying to break the clinch but Fat Boy has him pressed against the cage. Pots has had enough of the clinch but Fat Boy keeps him there for the moment. A shot in the inside from Pots. Fat Boy prevents the takedown attempt.
Pots looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Pots is looking for a takedown. Fat Boy effectively controlling the action here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fat Boy is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Pots is keeping busy. Pots keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Fat Boy's efforts to push away. Fat Boy has Pots pressed against the cage, preventing Pots from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Pots drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Fat Boy breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Pots shoots in but Fat Boy avoids the takedown attempt easily. Fat Boy shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Fat Boy was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Pots is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pots tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Fat Boy wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Pots can't do much from the bottom here. Fat Boy is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Pots knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Fat Boy goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Pots has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Fat Boy but great work by Pots.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pots postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Fat Boy wants to get back to his feet. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Pots in side control, throwing shots but Fat Boy defends. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Damian Fat Boy will probably get the nod - 10:9. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Pots jabs Fat Boy to the body, keeping him at a distance. Pots fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Nice takedown defense from Fat Boy. No joy for Pots on that attempt. Both fighters are breathing heavily. No luck for Pots with that takedown attempt.

Fat Boy leaves Pots with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Fat Boy blocks a head kick by Pots.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pots throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Fat Boy's waist but Fat Boy gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Pots off to one side. Pots throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Fat Boy is looking to clinch but Pots is avoiding it.
Fat Boy closes this distance looking for a takedown but Pots circles away. Pots fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Fat Boy avoids it really well and circles away. Pots tries to close the distance and clinch but Fat Boy swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Fat Boy stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Fat Boy wants it to stay on the feet. Fat Boy misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Fat Boy throws a looping overhand right but Pots ducks down to avoid it. Pots shoots for a double leg takedown but Fat Boy sprawls well. He's pushed Pots's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Pots fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Pots tries to close the distance and clinch up but Fat Boy swats him away and circles back towards the center. Fat Boy dives in and scores a takedown into Pots's guard. Fat Boy missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Fat Boy drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Pots manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Fat Boy has Pots in his guard. Fat Boy is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pots has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Fat Boy is proving hard to escape from. Pots trying to control the position from guard on top but Fat Boy is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to James Pots. I think Pots has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by majority decision... James Pots! James Pots tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
