Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Quisumbing Tumulak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny Caldwell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Quisumbing Tumulak!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Danny Caldwell!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Steven Brown and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Tumulak misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Tumulak dives in and scores a takedown into Caldwell's guard.
Tumulak seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Caldwell is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Tumulak is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Tumulak has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Quisumbing Tumulak has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Caldwell lands a nice shot that snaps Tumulak's head back.


It looks like Quisumbing Tumulak has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Caldwell throws a right and a left that Tumulak avoids nicely.
Quisumbing Tumulak seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tumulak is trying hard to land a takedown here. Caldwell sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Tumulak shoots in but no luck this time.

Tumulak shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Caldwell as he jumps to the side.
Tumulak dodges the punch combination from Caldwell.
Tumulak shoots in but Caldwell avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Tumulak looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Caldwell jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Sloppy strikes from Caldwell. Those never looked like landing.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Tumulak.
Tumulak shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Caldwell as he avoids it easily.
Tumulak is breathing heavily.

Tumulak shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Caldwell is trying to defend but Tumulak finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Caldwell is trying to control but can't.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Danny Caldwell dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Quisumbing Tumulak's cut.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Caldwell throws out a loose jab but Tumulak uses good head movement to avoid it.
Caldwell throws a shot from downtown. Tumulak moves away and avoids it.
Caldwell throws a jab when Tumulak was well out of range.
Danny Caldwell is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Tumulak slips a jab from Caldwell.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Tumulak is defended easily by Caldwell.
Tumulak fails with the takedown.

Caldwell pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Caldwell enables Tumulak to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Caldwell manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Caldwell is trying to control the position but Tumulak postures up.

Tumulak's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Tumulak drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Caldwell manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Tumulak has Caldwell in his guard.
Caldwell stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tumulak swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Caldwell keeps trying to improve his position.
Caldwell wants to control from the top but Tumulak keeps moving.
Caldwell pushing down on Tumulak's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Caldwell uses his free foot to push down on Tumulak's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Tumulak.
Caldwell wants to stand but Tumulak is holding on to him, trying to stop him posturing up.
Caldwell with some aggressive grappling here, looking for the finish.
Tumulak tries to lock up and control but Caldwell gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Tumulak on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Tumulak tries to get out of the position.
Caldwell trying to control but Tumulak is having none of it.

Tumulak defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Caldwell.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Caldwell wants to control the pace but Tumulak is squirming around nicely.

Caldwell jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Tumulak is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Tumulak and Caldwell has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Quisumbing Tumulak overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Tumulak stops Caldwell from passing to mount.

Caldwell tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Caldwell has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Caldwell tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Danny Caldwell showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The cut man is working on Quisumbing Tumulak's cut.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


The crowd cheers as Caldwell lands an impressive looking overhand right. Tumulak doesn't seem phased though.
Caldwell jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Caldwell throws the left hand but Tumulak avoids the punch easily.
A jab from Caldwell finds it's way through Tumulak's defenses.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Tumulak scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Caldwell wants to improve his position but Tumulak is controlling well.

Tumulak looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Caldwell wants to get back to full guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Tumulak is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Tumulak prevents Caldwell from improving his position.
Caldwell trying to control but Tumulak postures up.

Tumulak stalling.
Tumulak prevents Caldwell from improving his position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tumulak content to control rather than advance.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Caldwell lands a jab.

Tumulak fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Quisumbing Tumulak has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Caldwell connects with a crisp jab.

And that's the end of the fight!
Danny Caldwell comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Caldwell winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
