The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Daniel Franklin and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Phillips.
King throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Phillips tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but King paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Phillips misses with a head kick.
Phillips shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with King but King pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Phillips throws a head kick but King moves out of range.
Phillips is looking to clinch but King is avoiding it.
Phillips fails with an attempt to clinch.
Darren Phillips seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
King fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
King avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
King swats away the attempt to clinch by Phillips.
Phillips shoots for a double leg takedown but King sprawls well. He's pushed Phillips's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Phillips looks gassed!
Phillips fails with an attempt to clinch.
King uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Phillips has time to react.
King cracks Phillips with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. King has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Phillips to stand back up!
Phillips is rocked!

Phillips is holding his hands too far apart here. King throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! Phillips is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!
