Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ivo Sanader (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Nash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kevin Nash! The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Luis Engracia and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nash will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Nash avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Sanader defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Nash. Sanader is looking to clinch but Nash is avoiding it.
Sanader moves forwards but Nash connects with a nice, crisp jab. Nash closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Sanader's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Nash must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Sanader has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Nash controlling from the top position. Sanader lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Nash!

That's two minutes gone in the round. Nash feints and as Sanader raises his hands in defense, Nash changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Nash wants to control from the top but Sanader keeps moving. Nash controlling from the top position. Sanader looking for a sweep. Not yet Sanader, not yet. Nash trying to control the position from guard on top but Sanader is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Sanader is trying to keep Nash in close.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Kevin Nash was stalling too much, according to the referee. Nash closes the distance and clinches up with Sanader, looking for a takedown. Nash pushes Sanader against the cage but Sanader circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Sanader tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Nash paws at him with a jab and circles away. Nash throws a combination. Sanader tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Nash closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Sanader to the mat! Sanader manages to get full guard. Sanader wants to sweep but no luck. Sanader is breathing heavily. Nash's corner is telling him to maintain position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Nash throws a big right hand that misses. Nash stands and throws Sanader's legs to the side, diving into side control. Nash is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Sanader is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sanader is looking to reverse the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kevin Nash dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Nash wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Sanader, who protects the arm well. Sanader is not content to let Nash control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nash is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Nash wants to control but Sanader is keeping him busy. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. A lull in the action here. Nash cracks Sanader with an elbow. That is naaassty.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Nash working for a guillotine from mount but Sanader is in no mood to give up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kevin Nash showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Nash has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Nash is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Nash trying to control but Sanader is working from the bottom. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Nash looking to pass the guard.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Sanader takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Sanader throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Nash shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Nash is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Nash passes Sanader's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Nash content to control rather than advance. Nash winds up and cracks Sanader with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Nash tries to pass the half guard into mount. Sanader knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Sanader wants to control but Nash is keeping busy and won't allow it. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Nash lands a nice short elbow. Nash wants to advance to full mount but Sanader doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead. Nash controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Nash slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. The referee asks Nash politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Nash prefers to stall for the moment though.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Sanader stops Nash from passing to mount. Nash landing a few strikes. A lull in the action here as Nash stalls from top position. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Nash advances to mount. Kevin Nash has got the better of the ground game so far. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Nash working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
And that's the end of the fight! Kevin Nash comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Nash has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
