Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Huan Lucian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and William Dampier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lucian wants to clinch.
Lucian changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Dampier tries to avoid it but Lucian manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Dampier to the ground. Dampier escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Dampier misses with a series of wild punches.
Lucian fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Lucian shoots in for a takedown but Dampier shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Lucian sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Dampier's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That was a close round but I would say that Huan Lucian will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Lucian dives in and grabs Dampier's left leg, looking for a takedown. Dampier pushes down on Lucian's head and hops out.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Lucian lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Lucian working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Dampier lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Lucian!

Dampier is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Lucian can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Lucian is squirming around, avoiding Dampier's attempts to control the action.
You get the feeling that Lucian really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Dampier wants to take his opponent's back but Lucian doesn't allow it.

Lucian's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Dampier sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Lucian is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

Dampier might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Lucian haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

William Dampier showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

and Dampier cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Lucian shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Dampier's guard.
And that's the end of the fight!
