With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kurt Wagner!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Alan Glass and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
James avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Wagner lands an overhand right.

Wagner fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with James, pushing him back against the ropes.

James has Wagner pressed up against the ropes. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. James pulls back from the ropes and twists to the side, sending Wagner tumbling to the mat - James dives into Wagner's guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Wagner keeping moving, preventing James from controlling successfully.
James forces his way into half guard.
Wagner is looking to escape.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with James in particular looking to stall.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Wagner can do anything to dispel that myth.

James has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Wagner defend it? James steps over the head and cranks it - Wagner is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for James!
