Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between George White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bryan Bishop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bryan Bishop is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, George White! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
24 - 22 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Bryan Bishop! The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Alexandre Firmino and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bishop darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Bishop prevents White from improving his position. Bishop controlling the pace. White is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Bishop pulls his head out easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Well, if Bishop is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Bryan Bishop hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Bishop slaps away a takedown attempt from White, before circling back to the center of the mat. Excellent takedown into side control there by Bishop. White being controlled for a moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. White is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Bryan Bishop hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. White doesn't succeed with the takedown and Bishop counters with a nice double leg into guard. White isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Bishop stacks White on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Bishop! Bishop slows the pace down.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bishop looks up at the clock and then as White takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Bishop smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bryan Bishop dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Bishop looks to score with a jab to the body but White is just out of range. White tries for a takedown but Bishop circles away easily and Bishop counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Bishop avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Bishop is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. White is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bishop looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Bryan Bishop hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. White is trying hard to land a takedown here. Bishop sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. White gets caught napping as Bishop dives in and scores a takedown. White manages to retain guard. Bishop's corner is telling him to maintain position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. White working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Bishop has passed into half guard!
Bishop looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Let's hope that Bishop has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Bryan Bishop has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Bishop shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. White is looking for a triangle but Bishop pushes his legs off easily.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Bryan Bishop wasn't active enough on the ground. Bishop drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Bishop controls the position. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Bishop's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bryan Bishop showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Bishop shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has White pinned against the cage. White gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Bishop drives through with a takedown into guard. Bishop content to stall in guard here. White might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Bryan Bishop wasn't active enough on the ground. Bishop shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Bishop not landing any meaningful shots this time. White is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Bishop jumps into side control! Bryan Bishop has got the better of the ground game so far. White is trying to improve his position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bishop controls the position. Bryan Bishop is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Bishop looks up at the clock and then as White takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Bishop smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Bishop in side control, just content to control the action for now. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Bryan Bishop. Bishop gets a takedown into half guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Bishop takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bishop moves nicely into side control. White being controlled for a moment. Bishop advances to mount.
And that's the end of the fight! Bryan Bishop comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Bishop has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
