The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jinhui shoots in for a takedown but Slayton shows good takedown defense.
Sloppy strikes from Slayton. Those never looked like landing.
Slayton scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
It looks like Mao Jinhui has been cut.
Jinhui misses with a takedown attempt
and Slayton counters with a series of strikes that really hurt Jinhui! The ref looks into his eyes and sees nobody home - he's called the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bruce Slayton!
Mao Jinhui was interviewed post fight and said 'i lose because, the other fighter had luck'.
