Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Steven Morris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Curtis Klein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Steven Morris!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Curtis Klein!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Paulsen Ambrosius and Aafke Stam.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Klein defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Morris.
Morris fails in his attempt to clinch.
Morris takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Klein throws a series of punches but Morris avoids them all with ease.
Klein keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Morris closes the distance and clinches up with Klein, looking for a takedown. Morris pushes Klein against the cage but Klein circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Morris manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Klein on his heels. He'll look to pass Klein's guard now, I'm sure.
Klein tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Klein is adopting a defensive guard.
Morris stays in close to Klein's body and controls the position.

We're going to have a standup here because Steven Morris wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Morris shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Klein as he avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Steven Morris. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Morris counters with a shoot takedown. Klein fights it but they end up in guard.
Morris stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Klein swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Morris wants to control from the top but Klein keeps moving.

Klein pulls Morris in to control the position.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Steven Morris wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Klein throws a right and a left that both miss.

Morris bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Klein is trying to get back to his feet.
Morris gets to mount! Klein was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
Klein looks winded!
Morris takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Morris lands a couple of good shots and Klein has given up his back, trying to escape the position!

Morris scores with a nice shot to the head of his opponent. Klein is looking for a way out.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
A bit of a pause in the action here. Morris controlling the positon.
Morris wants to control but Klein is keeping busy.
Morris has the hooks in. Klein is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
