The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Wesley Smith and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fighter checks a leg kick.
Mabuva shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Mabuva misses with a lunging right hand
and Fighter counters with a leg kick.
Fighter gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Mabuva.
It looks like Hype Fighter has been cut.
Mabuva swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Fighter ducks under a wild hook from Mabuva.
Mabuva lands with a hook. Fighter tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
This has been an exciting period of action!
A looping hook to the body misses from Mabuva. Fighter does a little dance to reset his feet.
Fighter looks to land a left hand but Mabuva moved out of range nicely.
Mabuva throws an off balance right hand
and Fighter counters with a nice leg kick.
Mabuva looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Mabuva jabs Fighter right on the nose. Fighter blinks but takes it well.
A punch combination from Mabuva misses.
Fighter lands with an uppercut that bounces Mabuva off the cage and back into range.
The crowd cheers as Mabuva lands an impressive looking overhand right. Fighter doesn't seem phased though.
Fighter gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Mabuva gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Cedric Mabuva!
