Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ronnie Riley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexei Surov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Riley might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Queen - It's A Hard Life. Surov has chosen Amphetamines as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Riley pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Surov lands a right hook to the body.
Riley closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Riley bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Surov's head backwards.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Surov has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

We've been told by Riley's head coaches at Rage XXX Elite that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
