The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sibelius is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Gein lands with a straight right. Sibelius didn't see that one coming. Sloppy strikes from Sibelius. Those never looked like landing. Gein slips a jab from Sibelius. Gein lands with a cross.
It looks like Jean Sibelius has been cut. Sibelius throws a big shot that misses. Sibelius walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Gein looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Sibelius misses the shot to the body. The fighters circling - Sibelius throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Sibelius throws a series of punches but Gein moves out of range. Gein tries to clinch up but Sibelius circles away and keeps his distance. This has been an exciting period of action! Sibelius rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

Sibelius loads up on a big right hand but Gein slips the punch. Sibelius slips under a jab from Gein. Sibelius misses with a hook. Sibelius bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Gein is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Sibelius gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Ed Gein dominated that round. The cut man is working on Jean Sibelius's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Sibelius tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Gein defends well and Sibelius ends up having to push Gein into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Sibelius lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Sibelius drops an elbow to the side of Gein's head. Sibelius thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Gein's head. Gein makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Gein. Gein is pulling down on Sibelius's head. It's preventing any offense from Sibelius, at least for the moment. Gein tries to land a sweep but no joy. Gein is controlling Sibelius's posture. Sibelius throwing strikes but missing. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Gein holds on and takes a little breather. Gein keeping moving, preventing Sibelius from controlling successfully.

Gein uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Sibelius has time to react. Sibelius misses with a looping right. Sibelius slips under a jab. Gein throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Sibelius. Gein throws a sloppy head kick and Sibelius moves out of range easily. Gein closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Sibelius lands a head shot. Sibelius connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Gein misses with a left hand letting Sibelius counter with a right hand. A big right from Sibelius misses. Sibelius swings and misses with a hook to the body.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Gein looks for the body kick but Sibelius saw that one coming. The fight stays on the outside here - Gein looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Gein tried to score with a low kick but Sibelius checks it. Sibelius takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

That was a close second round but I would say that Jean Sibelius will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Jean Sibelius's cut. That's time! Sibelius's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. A nice leg kick lands there from Gein. Sibelius throws a right hand that Gein ducks under and follows up with a left that Gein also avoids with ease. Sibelius throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Sibelius lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Gein uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Sibelius. Sibelius swats away the attempt to clinch by Gein. Sibelius with a body punch. A glancing blow.

and Gein counters with a stiff right hand. Nice straight punches there by Gein. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Gein. Gein lands a glancing blow to the side of Sibelius's head. Gein scores with a nice body kick.

and Sibelius counters with a straight right hand. Gein throws a push kick but Sibelius slaps the foot to one side. Gein paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Sibelius misses with a looping right.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sibelius avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Gein uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Sibelius. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Gein. Gein wants to slow Sibelius down by chopping away at his legs. Gein lands a head shot.
Sibelius is rocked! Look low, kick high! Gein uses the oldest trick in the book to send Sibelius tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Gein is absolutely delighted - when Sibelius wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
