Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Morgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anthony Soprano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Soprano is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Got yourself a Gun. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kevin Morgan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Anthony Soprano! The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Alyssa Summers and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Soprano showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Morgan.
Soprano throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Morgan's head. Morgan looks to land a combination but Soprano avoids it well. Morgan clinches up with Soprano and pushes him back against the cage. Soprano comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Soprano lands on the inside with an uppercut. Morgan pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Soprano shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Morgan as he avoids it easily. Morgan throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Soprano fails with an attempt to clinch.
Soprano gets in close and instigates a clinch. A hook to the body from Soprano.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Soprano prevents Morgan from breaking the clinch. Soprano is working Morgan over against the cage. Morgan is breathing heavily. Soprano scores a nice knee to the body.
Soprano gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Morgan takes an elbow to the temple.
It looks like Kevin Morgan has been cut. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Soprano has clasped his hands together around Morgan's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Morgan wants to get back to his feet but Soprano drags him back down. Soprano remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Sloppy strikes there by Soprano.
That's one minute gone in the round. Soprano is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Morgan is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Morgan wants to get back to his feet but Soprano is dominant here and he's now got Morgan's back! Morgan trying to get back to his feet but Soprano is in full control for now. Soprano patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here? The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Soprano has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Morgan! Can he survive? No! He's out! Soprano gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:03 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Anthony Soprano!
