Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between John Burza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Fury (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Burza kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Metallica - Enter Sandman. John Burza had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burza lands with a hook. Fury tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Burza looks to land a right hand but Fury moved out of range.
Burza swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Fury counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Burza wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Burza throws out a loose jab but Fury uses good head movement to avoid it.
Burza misses with a straight right.
Burza slips a jab from Fury.
Fury swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Burza is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Fury's half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Nick Fury is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Burza shoots in but Fury avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Burza fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Fury avoids it really well and circles away.
Burza moves out of range of the leg kick from Fury.

Burza looks to throw the jab but Fury is out of range.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Burza is defended easily by Fury.

Burza shoots in for a takedown but Fury shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Fury takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Burza shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Fury but Fury pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Fury takes a swing at Burza's ribcage but misses.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that John Burza will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Fury ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
A looping hook to the body misses from Burza. Fury does a little dance to reset his feet.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Fury lands a leg kick that knocks Burza off balance momentarily.
Fury punishes Burza's body with a nice straight punch.
Fury darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Fury lands a big uppercut and Burza crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Burza looks OK. Fury waves Burza back to his feet!
Burza is rocked!

Fury looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Oh Burza is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Fury measures up his opponent and throws a superman punch that connects to the jaw! Down goes Burza! The ref steps in, and that's the ball game folks!
