Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Willie Bader!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Billy Bob!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bader is looking to slow Bob down with leg kicks.
Bob misses with the combination.
Bader moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Bob throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Bader connects with a looping right hand.
Bob misses with a few strikes there.
A thudding body kick lands there by Bader!
Bob throws a nice looking combination but Bader bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Decent striking displayed by Bader there.
Bob walks forward, straight into a front kick from Bader.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bader has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Bob finds it's way round the side to connect with Bader's head.
Bob takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Bob connects with the punch.

Bader connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Nice uppercut lands for Bob. That snapped Bader's head back.
Bob scores with a sloppy right hand. Bader should have avoided that one.

Oh Bader is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Bob throws a right and a left that both miss.

Bob on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

The fighters circle momentarily. Bader darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Bob throws a series of punches but Bader moves out of range.
Bob has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Bader.
Bader is looking to slow Bob down with leg kicks.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bob fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Bob throws a right and a left that Bader avoids nicely.
Bader tests Bob's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Bader tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Bader darts in and clinches Bob up against the cage.
A nice left hand lands by Bader.
Bader is pushing Bob up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Bader can't find room to land a body shot as Bob controls the action.

Bader content to slow the pace in the clinch.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Bader pushes Bob off looking to stand but Bob dives back in and keeps control.
Bader has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Bob is working away from the top position though.

Bader working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bob doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bob manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
This has been an exciting period of action!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Bader working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bob doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bob manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Bader is trying to maintain the position but Bob is very close to passing his half guard.
Bader is looking for a sweep. Bob is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Bader has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Bob is working away from the top position though.

Willie Bader has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

Bob's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Bob swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Billy Bob seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bader dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Bob. That did some damage!

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bob misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Bader feints and then cracks Bob's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Bob down.

Bob tries to keep at a distance but Bader has taken the fight into the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Bader pushes Bob against the cage. Bader is working some dirty boxing. Bader pushes off with a quick right hook! Bob goes down! Bob tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Bader moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
