Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Brad Bennett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chad Odorisio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Bennett might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Shipping Up to Boston. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Cecil Peabody and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bennett shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Odorisio napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Bennett stands up and beckons Odorisio to his feet.
Odorisio fails in his attempt to clinch.
Odorisio keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Bennett fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Odorisio avoids it really well and circles away.
Odorisio misses with a head kick.
Odorisio fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Bennett avoids the head kick by Odorisio.
Odorisio throws a head kick but Bennett moves out of range.

Odorisio throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Bennett scores with a hook to the body. Odorisio takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Bennett connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Bennett takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Odorisio gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Bennett gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Odorisio is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Brad Bennett!
