Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Otto Jokinen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jin Kim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jokinen comes to the cage accompanied by Marilyn Manson - Sweet Dreams. Kim has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 29 - 2, fighting out of Helsinki, Jin Kim!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Johanna Lukiainen and Roosa Järviläinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jokinen listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Kim looks winded!
Kim on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jokinen throws a leg kick which misses Kim's front leg but catches the back leg as Kim tries to avoid it.
A slapping leg kick lands for Jokinen.
Jokinen throws a nice inside leg kick.

Jokinen moves into the clinch successfully.
Jokinen digs a right hand underneath Kim's ribcage. Kim let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Jokinen misses with a knee strike.

Jokinen lands a hook to the side of the head.
Kim takes a knee right on the jaw!
Jokinen lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Jokinen crunches a lovely knee into Kim's ribcage.
Jokinen works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Jokinen lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Jokinen gets control of Kim's arms and successfully pulls guard. Jokinen will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jokinen is trying to control the position but Kim postures up.

Jokinen working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kim doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kim manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Jokinen had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Kim defends it easily.

Jokinen has his foot on Kim's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Kim works his way back into a safe position though.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kim got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jokinen has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kim has managed to get both his arms back between Jokinen's legs - danger averted.

Jokinen lands a good knee to the midsection. Kim won't want to take too many of those.

Jokinen lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Kim or not.
Jokinen putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Kim in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.

Jokinen takes Kim's back. Could be looking for a rear naked choke here - either way, Kim is in trouble.

Jokinen lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

Jokinen unloads a knee to the mid-section.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Jokinen lands a hook that snaps the head of Kim backwards.

Kim is still on wobbly legs! Can Jokinen finish him?
Jokinen lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Jokinen has Kim tight in a Thai clinch... and there's a huge knee which drops Kim to the floor. He's out cold!! I hope he's still got all his teeth!
