With a record of 15 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Yury Vesnev!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Chris Downing and Alan Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alves fails to land the takedown.
Alves looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Alves on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Nice straight punches there by Alves. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Alves.
Vesnev will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Vesnev moves into the clinch successfully.
Vesnev gets through Alves's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Alves is trying to force a seperation but Vesnev has the dominant position.
Vesnev has a couple of punches blocked by Alves.
Vesnev scores with a shot to the side of Alves's head.

Vesnev pushes Alves back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Alves tries to break the clinch but Vesnev is controlling the position.
