Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sami Holmen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Bruce Lee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Sami Holmen!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holmen shoots in but Lee avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Lee connects with a looping right hand.
Holmen fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Holmen.
Lee tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Holmen presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!

Lee is in all sorts of trouble here.
Holmen avoids the attempt from Lee to control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lee keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Lee could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Holmen is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Lee can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Holmen is trying to take his opponent's back.
Holmen is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Lee has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Holmen working for a submission but Lee is keeping him at bay.
Lee is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
Holmen working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.

Lee can't escape the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Holmen tries to control but Lee wriggling away.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Lee is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Holmen has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Lee wants to hold on but Holmen pushes him away.
Holmen lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Lee is trying desperately to improve position.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Holmen jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Lee manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Holmen scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Lee to see if he's OK.
Holmen has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Holmen gets a clinch.
Lee lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Lee is working for takedown but Holmen is calmly controlling the position for now.
Lee tries to score a body lock takedown but Holmen shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Holmen wants a takedown.
Bruce Lee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sami Holmen.
Lee lands an elbow that stopped Holmen in his tracks for a moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Lee gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Holmen looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Lee trying to control but Holmen is working from the bottom.
Holmen is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Lee trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Lee stands up out of Holmen's guard for a moment - Holmen manages to land a nice upkick.
Holmen looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Holmen looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Lee is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sami Holmen dominated that round.
That's time! Lee's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Lee tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Bruce Lee is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Lee fails in his attempt to clinch.
Lee tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Holmen counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Holmen connects with a nice short shot to Lee's temple.
Lee is in trouble now - Holmen has advanced to mount!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Holmen has hold of an arm here, looking to extend it. He's committed to the armbar attempt here! Will he get it?! Yes! Lee is forced to tap!
