Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Silberio ZasZas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcos Costa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marcos Costa is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Silberio ZasZas! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Marcos Costa! The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Seu Braga and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! ZasZas lands a big head kick that sends Costa tumbling to the mat! ZasZas takes a step backwards and waves Costa back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like Marcos Costa has been cut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! ZasZas fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
ZasZas lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Costa circles away quickly and effectively. ZasZas lands a big head kick that sends Costa tumbling to the mat! ZasZas takes a step backwards and waves Costa back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Costa is rocked! Costa fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but ZasZas avoids it really well and circles away. Costa is still on wobbly legs! Can ZasZas finish him? Costa gets a takedown into half guard. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Costa is sneakily working for an arm triangle but ZasZas sees it coming and defends easily. Costa seems to have recovered his senses. ZasZas wants to get back to his feet.
Costa looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

That's one minute gone in the round. ZasZas is looking to escape. Costa is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and ZasZas defends it well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Costa is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. ZasZas wants to get back to his feet.
