Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Takumi Suzuki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tamil Figg Hoblyn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Suzuki comes into the arena with Tokyo Drift blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Takumi Suzuki! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tamil Figg Hoblyn! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Suzuki tries to clinch but Figg Hoblyn is having none of it. Nice uppercut there from Suzuki. Figg Hoblyn tries to move into range but Suzuki moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
It looks like Tamil Figg Hoblyn has been cut. Figg Hoblyn shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Figg Hoblyn stands up out of the half guard. Figg Hoblyn moves out of range of the body kick from Suzuki.
Figg Hoblyn feints and as Suzuki raises his hands in defense, Figg Hoblyn changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Figg Hoblyn tries to free his leg and advance position but Suzuki is retaining full guard. Suzuki is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Figg Hoblyn stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Suzuki swivels though and keeps the full guard. Suzuki keeping moving, preventing Figg Hoblyn from controlling successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Figg Hoblyn wants to pass the guard but Suzuki is keeping the position. Suzuki looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Suzuki controlling Figg Hoblyn's posture. Figg Hoblyn content to stall in guard here.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Figg Hoblyn shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Suzuki pinned against the cage. Suzuki gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Suzuki drives through and clinches with Figg Hoblyn against the cage.

Figg Hoblyn scores with a sloppy right hand. Suzuki should have avoided that one. Figg Hoblyn darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Suzuki pushes Figg Hoblyn off looking to stand but Figg Hoblyn dives back in and keeps control.
Figg Hoblyn wants to control but Suzuki is keeping him busy. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Figg Hoblyn tries to pass to full mount but Suzuki defends it. Suzuki desperately trying to maintain half guard. Figg Hoblyn prevents Suzuki from improving his position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Figg Hoblyn tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Suzuki is looking to improve his position.
Figg Hoblyn decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Figg Hoblyn changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Suzuki tries to avoid it but Figg Hoblyn manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Suzuki to the ground. Suzuki escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Suzuki swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Takumi Suzuki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Suzuki fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Suzuki is breathing heavily. Figg Hoblyn slips a jab and a cross from Suzuki.
Figg Hoblyn shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Figg Hoblyn breaks from Suzuki's wrist control and lands an elbow. Figg Hoblyn raining down shots from the mount! Figg Hoblyn content just to control the position here. Figg Hoblyn is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Figg Hoblyn shoots in for a double leg but Suzuki sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tamil Figg Hoblyn dominated that round. The cut man is working on Tamil Figg Hoblyn's cut. That's time! Suzuki's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Figg Hoblyn shoots for a takedown but Suzuki saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Suzuki tries to close the distance and clinch but Figg Hoblyn swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Takumi Suzuki is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Suzuki instigates a clinch. Figg Hoblyn jumps guard.
Suzuki gets to his feet - Figg Hoblyn follows without any prompting. Figg Hoblyn scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Figg Hoblyn content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Suzuki looks like he's trying to stand up.
Suzuki on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Suzuki tries to get out of the position. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Figg Hoblyn wants to free his trapped foot but Suzuki is holding on for dear life with his legs. Figg Hoblyn wants to control but Suzuki is keeping him busy. Suzuki is trying to stand.
Figg Hoblyn is looking to take a break and control but Suzuki is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Suzuki blocking the ground and pound attempt from Figg Hoblyn.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Suzuki walks forward, straight into a front kick from Figg Hoblyn. Figg Hoblyn paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Figg Hoblyn shoots for a double leg takedown but Suzuki sprawls well. He's pushed Figg Hoblyn's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Suzuki darts in and clinches Figg Hoblyn up against the cage. Figg Hoblyn breaks the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Suzuki shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Figg Hoblyn throws a head kick that Suzuki semi-blocks.
Figg Hoblyn rushes Suzuki and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Figg Hoblyn gets a trip takedown into half guard. Figg Hoblyn takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Suzuki avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Figg Hoblyn. Figg Hoblyn content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Suzuki trying to control from the bottom.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Figg Hoblyn throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Suzuki. Suzuki shoots and misses and Figg Hoblyn holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Figg Hoblyn fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Takumi Suzuki has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tamil Figg Hoblyn. Figg Hoblyn has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Suzuki uses from the top position. Figg Hoblyn is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Figg Hoblyn drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Suzuki goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Suzuki misses with an uppercut. Figg Hoblyn uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Suzuki. Suzuki cracks Figg Hoblyn with a right hand to the side of the head. Suzuki attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Figg Hoblyn shoots in for a takedown but Suzuki shows good takedown defense. Suzuki throws a head kick that misses and Figg Hoblyn counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Figg Hoblyn lands a nice leg kick that just misses Suzuki's sensitive parts. Figg Hoblyn tries to bum rush Suzuki with a series of wild strikes but Suzuki uses good footwork to avoid the assault. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Suzuki. Suzuki misses with a looping right. Suzuki avoids the head kick by Figg Hoblyn.

He's worked his way up against the cage but Figg Hoblyn has just dragged him back down to the mat. You can see the frustration on Suzuki's face as Figg Hoblyn controls the position. Suzuki sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Figg Hoblyn moves into full mount! Suzuki won't be happy about that! Figg Hoblyn goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Suzuki turns into him and now he's in Figg Hoblyn's guard.

Suzuki seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Figg Hoblyn has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Figg Hoblyn is looking to take a break and control but Suzuki is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Suzuki seems a little lost for a moment, as Figg Hoblyn dominates the positioning. Suzuki is not content to let Figg Hoblyn control the position. Takumi Suzuki has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Figg Hoblyn just content to control the position. Suzuki is not content to let Figg Hoblyn control the position. Suzuki tries to improve position but can't.
And that's the end of the fight! Tamil Figg Hoblyn comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Figg Hoblyn winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
