Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are George Francis, Frank Dennis and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cramdon throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kirkness Tw's waist but Kirkness Tw gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Cramdon off to one side.
Cramdon shoots in for a double leg but Kirkness Tw sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Cramdon shoots in but no luck this time.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ralph Cramdon. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Cramdon shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Cramdon showed some decent athleticism there.
Kirkness Tw felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kirkness Tw can do anything to dispel that myth.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
