The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Salazar swats away the attempt to clinch by Ellis.
Salazar lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ellis circles away quickly and effectively.

Salazar ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ellis moves away.
Ellis shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Salazar defends it nicely.
Ellis tries to clinch but Salazar moves out of range.
Alehh Salazar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Salazar throws a series of punches but Ellis avoids them all with ease.

Salazar shoots for a double leg takedown but Ellis sprawls well. He's pushed Salazar's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Salazar is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Ellis is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Ellis can't do much from the bottom here.

Darius Ellis comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Ellis has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
