The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Phil Schofield and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice inside leg kick there by De Oliveira. That's going to slow Yvel down.
That kick from De Oliveira tenderised Yvel's leg. Yvel is trying to keep his angry face on.
Yvel looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Yvel closes this distance looking for a takedown but De Oliveira circles away.
Yvel looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
De Oliveira on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Yvel shoots in looking for a takedown. De Oliveira tries to sprawl out of it but Yvel keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. De Oliveira manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ruben Yvel. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Yvel throws a head kick but De Oliveira moves out of range.

and Yvel counters with a good low kick that De Oliveira was not able to check.

Yvel misses with a takedown attempt
and De Oliveira counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

De Oliveira forces his way into half guard.
De Oliveira wants to pass the guard but Yvel is defending well.
De Oliveira wants to take a breather but Yvel is having none of it.
Yvel desperately trying to maintain half guard.
De Oliveira wants to control but Yvel is keeping him busy.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
De Oliveira is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Yvel is just riding it out for now. De Oliveira eventually gives up the hold.

De Oliveira wants to pass to mount but Yvel is defending the position.
De Oliveira is looking for a kimura but Yvel is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for De Oliveira to get the leverage.
Yvel is trying to maintain the position but De Oliveira is very close to passing his half guard.

De Oliveira seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Yvel does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
De Oliveira tries to pass to full mount but Yvel defends it.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Ruben Yvel.
De Oliveira lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
It looks like Ruben Yvel has been cut.
Yvel pulls out of a head kick attempt.
De Oliveira shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Yvel napping and manages to drive through into side control!
De Oliveira is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Yvel is trying to escape and De Oliveira transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Yvel is forced to tap! Nice work there by De Oliveira! Very nice indeed!
