The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Piper shoots in but James avoids the takedown attempt easily.
James fails in his attempt to clinch.

James tries to clinch but Piper is having none of it.
Piper dives in for a single leg takedown but James sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
