Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tristan Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nicholas Noriega (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nicholas Noriega will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tristan Lee! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Nicholas Noriega! The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Skip Squint and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lee will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Lee could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Lee circles away from the clinch attempt.
Noriega thumps Lee with a low kick. Lee shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Noriega pinned against the cage. Noriega gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Noriega looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Noriega connects with a solid leg kick. Lee clinches up with Noriega and pushes him back against the cage. Lee working aggressively here.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Lee trying to stall but Noriega improves his position.
Lee tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Noriega's elbow. Noriega just leaning against Lee, taking a breather. Lee is looking to break free of the clinch but Noriega has double underhooks.

Lee has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Noriega is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tristan Lee. That's going to take a lot out of him. Lee swings wildly with an uppercut but Noriega uses good head movement to avoid it. Lee wants the takedown. Noriega is fighting it off but Lee persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Noriega's guard against the cage. Lee wanted to stand there but Noriega had control of the position. Lee might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Lee drops back looking for a leg! Noriega is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Noriega manages to kick Lee off! Lee jumps back into Noriega's guard. Lee won't allow Noriega to sweep him here. Noriega not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lee is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Lee trying to control the position from guard on top but Noriega is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Lee's corner is telling him to maintain position. Lee slips nicely into half guard. Noriega is staying active underneath Lee, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Lee seems to be looking for submissions.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Lee wants to control but Noriega is keeping him busy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lee working the head and body with strikes. Lee prevents Noriega from improving his position. Lee looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Noriega really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lee. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Lee is breathing heavily. Lee is thwarting Noriega's attempts to control the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lee prevents Noriega from improving his position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lee tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Noriega is pushing off trying to get to his feet. Lee has hold of the leg though and he's dropped back for a heel hook… has he got it?? YES! Noriega is tapping! This fight is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Heel Hook). Tristan Lee! Our winner, Tristan Lee, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
