Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Vincent Koon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pytorvra Narcus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Koon might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Stevie Wonder - Skeletons. Pytorvra Narcus is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

16 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Pytorvra Narcus! The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Dean Styles and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Koon closes the distance and pushes Narcus back into the cage. Narcus changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Koon fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Koon drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Koon is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Narcus has escaped the position, nice work there. Koon is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Narcus knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Narcus can do anything to dispel that myth. Koon working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Koon wants to lay and pray for a moment but Narcus keeps working. Koon swings around for an armbar but Narcus sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Koon's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Koon has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Narcus doesn't defend quickly enough and Koon has managed to lock this one up! Can Narcus escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Koon on a fantastic submission victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Vincent Koon! After winning the bout, Vincent Koon thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
